The Mt. Evans Wilderness

The Mt. Evans Wilderness (2016)

Colorado is arguably filled with some of the most beautiful places on Earth, places that words can't even describe. I was taken to the top of Mt. Evans by a friend of mine for the first time in 2013. I quickly realized how special of a place it was and decided I wanted to shoot a collection of footage and create something from it. This film is not perfect, and I don't want it to be. Every single frame means something to me personally, because every shot is from a moment that I wanted to capture just as much as the moment had captured me. I know that I could have gone back up with a drone or a million different lenses to try different shots and angles, and I still wouldn't have been able to depict what this place is really like... but I think the reality is, you have to go up there to experience the magic of it.

This is Mt. Evans through my eyes.
