When I was approached by CP+B creatives to direct some online content for Hotels.com, I agreed and decided to bring in a partner for the project; the wildly talented Robert Uncles. We would co-direct, co-edit, and co-create this together to make some super fun content.
The concept was created by the creatives at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colorado. They decided to ordain the iconic character ‘Captain Obvious’ (via the internet for three installments of $9.99) and have him perform a real life marriage ceremony. It would turn out to be the most memorable day of their lives; mostly because it was their wedding.
